Our dogs are little girls in their minds - not dogs

We have two dogs. One is a purebred Beagle, her name is BayLeigh and she is 6 years old. Our other dog is named Cheyeanne and she is a setter, pointer, husky, chow mix. Cheyeanne is 3 years old.
We just love our dogs. The funny thing about our dogs however is that I do not believe that they believe they are dogs. They are our little girls in their minds, and in fact we call them "Those Girls".
They are too big to wear dog type clothes so we actually purchase them small girls clothes from department stores, hair bows from department stores and etc.
We celebrate their birthdays just like we would if they really were human kids. We have cake, ice cream and a big birthday party where Grandma and all of our neighbors and family members come bring gifts and spend the day celebrating the girls birthday party.
Both of our girls sleep in our bed with my husband and I, however they both have their own pillow and comforter set that they cuddle up in while in our bed. Cheyeanne has a Dora the Explorer set as when that tv show comes on she runes right to the tv, sits down and stares at the tv until the theme song has ended. BayLeigh has all Disney princess themed bedding including a pair of matching pajamas that she runs to put on every night at her bedtime which is 9pm just like a kid.
They both have backpacks that they like to wear around the house and follow our son around when he is getting ready to go to school in the morning. They throughly do believe that they are our children and are not dogs. In fact they do not eat out of a bowl on the floor like other dogs, at dinner they get a plate full of dog food and sit at the table with my son, my husband and myself. Other people find this odd, but I believe that the girls would find it odd if they were in fact treated like dogs!
