My Poodle Hamilton was my living Teddy Bear

by Suzanne
(Georgia)

My Poodle Hamilton - a living Teddy Bear

Hamilton was my first baby - a feisty, loving 6 pound red toy poodle. He didn't ever realize he was a dog - he went everywhere with us and was a constant & loyal companion.

When he was ready to go to sleep he would go to bed (in our bed) no matter what anyone else was doing.

If he didn't get his treat when he came in from outside, he would turn around & scratch on the door to go back out & try again.

Every time I ever cried when I had him he would always come and lick my tears away. When ever I was sick he would never leave my side. My husband always said I had turned him into a living teddy bear.

We were blessed by Hamilton's love and companionship for 16 years and I still love & miss him. I have another toy poodle now who has a completely different personality, but I love him just as much. I can't imagine living without a sidekick!
