My little Girl, My Boxer, Casey - RIP

by Vicki
(Ringgold Ga)

My little girl's name is Casey. She is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. Casey has been my joy for eight years.

She had surgery at the first of the year for a cruciate rupture. She was almost back to her old self when a week ago she started to collapse. She would seem fine and then it would happen again.
The vet said he was 99% sure she had a ruptured disc in her back.

She has been at the vet for a week. We tried steroids and rest but she won't eat and had to be catherized.

We have to go today to put her down. My heart is broken, I have cried for a week. I have tried to strike bargins with God so I could keep my little girl.

People don't understand how much I love her or how much I hurt. I don't know how and don't want to say goodbye. Right now the lump in my throat makes it hard to breathe.

Please cherish every moment with your friend. I never expected this so soon. Casey you will always be Momma's baby girl.
