My Doberman Pinscher Sasha is the Best Puppy Ever

Doberman Pinschers do have a reputation, but in my experience they are a wonderful breed. In her first AKC sanctioned competition, my gorgeous Doberman Pinscher “Princess Sasha”, won “Best Puppy in Group”. Granted she can be a bit feisty around other dogs so I carefully introduce before turning her loose to play with other puppies.
Her beautiful sleek black coat requires minimal grooming and to maintain optimal health all she needs is plenty of exercise. I give her lots of love and attention and she rewards me with being the best dog one could ask for. She does however need a steady supply of rawhide bones to chew on, otherwise she goes for my shoes and I like designer brands.
She loves to ride in the car and I take her with me whenever I can. Sasha is a great house dog but doesn’t take well to being locked up alone in the house so I built her a kennel in the backyard. I’ll never forget the first day she arrived; she came by plane from Toronto. She was only two months old then but when I picked her up at the airport she was calm and happy in her crate, as if she was an “old paw” at flying. I fell in love with her the first moment I saw her.
I have found that there are people that are afraid of Sasha and I do understand but this is a breed of dog I can highly recommend to anyone that really wants to have a loyal dog and has the time to give it what it needs. Along with showing her in the AKC Working Group, I take her to obedience classes so she listens well and is great on the leash. I am a bit of a softy and let her on the furniture which doesn’t sit well with my wife but hey, what can I say?
