I have two purebred Boxers, Zuma and Zoey

by Vanessa
(Arkansas)

I have two purebred Boxers. I have a fawn male boxer, he's five years old and I have a brindle female boxer, she's 7 months old. I can't imagine life without my boxers.

They are like my children. They have so much personality. My male's name is Zuma, and my female's name is Zoey. Zuma is the sweet one. He always has to be around us. He follows us around the house, he snuggles with us at night. He has this innocent look in his eyes like a sweet little boy. Sometimes, I could swear he knows exactly what I'm saying.

Zoey is the hyper one. She loves to jump up and down, run around the house with her bone in her mouth and chase bugs. But, she also has to stop to smell the flowers when we're out walking. It's so funny how my two boxers have two very distinct personalities. They truly are like little human beings.

Just as they have two very different personalities, they also have a lot of traits in common. When we go out to play, they both jump wildly into the air not thinking about their landings at all. It's hilarious to watch my boxers flail through the air. They chase each other through the park running until they literally fall over with exhaustion. They both snore really loud and sleep in extremely awkward positions.

They are both huge bed hogs. I really can't imagine having any other dogs. My boxers are my children. They are possibly the most pampered, spoiled rotton dogs on this planet, and I'm perfectly ok with that.

These boxers have the most different personalities, yet they are also almost the same in so many ways. The laughs never stop with them and the smiles are constant. Coming home everyday is never dull. No bad day ever gets worse with two boxers at home.
