I could not imagine my life without my purebred daschund Ryder

I have had my akc purebred dog for less than a year. His name is Ryder but I like to call him weenie. As you have probably gathered he is a dachshund purebred dog.

He is the sweetest dog ever. He follows me everywhere and loves to ride in the car. He has this thing he does when I fake like I am crying, he starts howling and crying too. It is the funniest thing ever.

I never thought an animal could bring me so much joy and happiness but Ryder has given me more than that. He is so full of life and is so curious about everything. He reminds me of what it was like being young and carefree.

He is also very jealous of me. When my husband kisses me, Ryder goes crazy trying to get to my face and kiss me too. I feel so much love from and for this dog. Just being around him is relaxing and calming.

He is also a toy so he is very small and has very short hair so he is a perfect inside dog. Ryders favorite toys include a stuffed ferret that makes a purring sound, a rubber bone, and all of my shoes. Although he has ruined a few pairs of my shoes, he is a great companion.

He sleeps in my bed every night under the covers at my feet or snuggled up to my neck. He always wants to be laying on me or right beside me. But I would not change him for anything. I know he will never betray me, leave me, or hurt me. He will be my rock and I will be his. I know he counts on me everyday to feed him walk him and show him affection. As I count on him also.

I am very happy I chose this purebred dog of mine because they are such good natured animals. I could not have asked for a better tempered dog. He has never snapped at anyone. He only has love to give. So I will forever be grateful to the person who invented this breed. Because I could not imagine my life without my perfect, sweet, purebred daschund Ryder.
