The Sloughi is a dog breed originating in North Africa and can easily be found in the countries of Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Libya. They are also known by the names: Berber Greyhound and Arabian Greyhound.
These nimble dogs are sighthounds too and have droopy ears and a somewhat sad expression. Color wise, they may be found in the colors of light brown, red, mahogany, and black mantle. They often have black masks and black ears and sometimes come with or without brindling in the coat.
These dogs need lots of exercise and will need plenty of walks and runs in enclosed areas. They are happiest whenever they get to run off leash. But make sure it is always in a safely enclosed area.
Keep in mind also that these dogs are very sensitive and need to be with their owners. Training wise, owners need to be gentle and not too heavy handed.

Just looking at this medium sized dog will quickly remind you of its desert heritage. In fact, it was often used while hunting for game such as foxes or jackals, hare, and even gazelles. They are also very good watch dogs.
Do you like to jog? Then one of these dogs would make an excellent jogging partner for you on all your daily walks or runs. And if you give it ample exercise, it will happily spend the rest of its time indoors resting while watching its family as it drowses.
