Bull Terrier - Purebred Dogs and Puppies

A member of the Terrier group, The Bull Terrier must be strongly built, muscular, symmetrical and active. They are also known as the "gladiator of the canine race".

They have a keen determined and intelligent expression, full of fire but of sweet disposition and amenable to discipline. They are playful, fun-loving, sensitive, and affectionate dogs who make wonderful pets and companions, despite their tough appearance.

They have tiny triangular eyes, a very characteristic egg-shaped head, roman nose and short erect ears. They are happiest when they are with the people they love: the closer, the better.

The BT loves games with a ball or other toys and all sorts of outdoor activities and has high exercise needs.

They come in two varieties: the colored and the solid white. Their coat is very short and glossy and requires very little grooming.

The Bull Terrier is known for being very greedy so be sure to maintain a good balance of exercise and food to keep the dog from becoming overweight. They need very firm training and lots of frequent exercise.

"People teach their dogs to sit; it's a trick. I've been sitting my whole life, and a dog has never looked at me as though he thought I was tricky." - Mitch Hedberg
